AVENE Try Before You Buy Samples

3.2.14
Hello loves! Sorry this post is a little later going up today, What can i say? Apart from that i suck at staying ahead of schedule! Today I'd like to share with you a fabulous idea for the Skincare junkies out there, Try Before You Buy featuring the much loved brand, Avene...

The skincare bug can definitely be an expensive one to be bitten with, needless to say I'm suffering immensely from it recently. I never thought I'd see the time I  obsessed over toners and night cream, Long gone are the days of snoozing away in my makeup with not a single pang of guilt.

I was reading Claudia's post about the Try Before You Buy system over on Beauty and the Chic, and i can't thank her enough for sharing this! Basically, Mistrys Chemist online let you pick 5 Avene samples for absolutely nothing, and all you have to pay is the £3.25 delivery fee! Now i love a bargain and just couldn't resist popping my 5 choices in my basket and checking out before i even had time to talk myself out of it. Not like i would of succeeded anyway, i believe weak is the word.

I picked the Gentle Toner (25ml), Soapless Gel Cleanser (25ml), Hydrating Soothing Serum (5ml), SPF 50+ Dry Skin Cream (5ml) and the Gentle Purifying Scrub (5ml).
I was really pleased that the samples came in tubes & bottles too, as sachet samples are just messy and annoying for multiple applications. I thought not only would it be a great introduction to Avene, a brand I've always wanted to give a whirl, but they also make fantastic travel sizes to take with me when i stay with my boyfriend. Extra brownie points for throwing in a cheeky sample of the Clearance masque too!

I think this is a fab idea, and a lot more beauty & cosmetic companies should offer systems like this. let's be honest the prices just get more extortionate every year, and I'd be much more inclined to pay out for full sizes if i got hooked on a sample! Thank you Claudia! What are your thoughts? Something you would love to see a bit more of in the beauty world?
